Snooki’s getting ripped. She told Ellen that she’s been working out and she plans to give “The Situation” a run for his money. Really?
I had no plans on watching this show, but was lured into the other room and became sucked in when I heard her telling Ellen that she’s hired a trainer and plans to get ripped again back to her cheerleading physique so she can show “The Situation” what’s up.
I don’t watch much TV, have viewed a total of about 5 minutes of “The Jersey Shore" and never really understood why so many people are captivated by this group of train wrecks. But I think I get it now. Somehow the stuff that comes out of her mouth makes you want to continue watching because you’re so flabbergasted, shocked and in disbelief. Is it real? Must be. How could anyone stage some of her classic lines like “These are big balls” ? I totally get it now and understand why she’s laughing all the way to the bank.
I’m sure her workout entails a little more than the 3 moves she showed Ellen. You can see Snooki in action here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4HehXRnHkg.
1.) Ball Squat.
2.) Standing Ball Side Flexion
3.) Side Leg Lifts
So again, you have to give her the benefit of the doubt and wish her success. However, I think she’d have much better success if she cut back on her drinking, cleaned up her diet and did this “Magic 4 for Core that’s demonstrated by leading back expert Dr. Stuart McGill in the video below.
1.) Pot Stir or Stability Ball Circles.
2.) Side Planks
3.) McGill Ab Isometrics
4.) Bird Dogs
Snooki’s certainly successful and I’m sure she’ll probably even come out with her own exercise video, but as with her book and show, I’d take it for face value and entertainment purposes. I can see what makes her interesting, but I don’t think I’d hire her as my coach. How bout you?
Wow, loved the NYT video. Thanks for sharing!
You're welcome Reese!
