For the most part, I really try to blog about helpful lifestyle tidbits that are usually health and fitness related, however I just had to get this off my chest…no pun intended. I’ve also mentioned before that I don’t make it a habit to watch most main stream media outside of the weather channel. That daily addiction came to me in my airline days and has yet to leave. I do spend a bit of time though, in a place that has huge flat screen TV’s all over that blast top headline images and I also get the just of what’s hot in the media from my firends and clients.
So getting back to the two ladies in question. I need someone to help me understand the obsession with plastic surgery. I guess if I think about it, I get the part about wanting to look good. I think we’d all be lying if we didn’t admit that it’s a concern of most everyone. The part I don’t get is the desire to repeatedly go under the knife and risk your health numerous times just for the sake of looking good. And in my opinion, most who go for surgical enhancements come out looking worse than they started out. To me most surgical so called improvements make these women look like mannequins or Barbie dolls.
Maybe it’s all the societal pressure we put on women to look perfect that drive them to this extreme? I dunno….Interested to hear your thoughts.
I think it’s like any other addictions out there (for those who do get addicted) once you get hooked you want more……more…..more!
