Turbulence Training Fat Burning Update

One week down out of 12.  Results so far….Love the workouts.  The intensity is great.  I love getting in a good sweat and feeling it post workout and that’s just what happens when you’re done.   My goal is to lose 10 lbs of fat in 12 weeks.  The scale hasn’t moved, but I’ve lost 1/4 inch in my waist and a 1/4 inch in my hips.  At first I have to say I was a little bummed that the numbers on the scale didn’t move, but I quickly reminded myself of what I always tell my clients when they don’t see the scale numbers change.  When you’re building muscle and losing fat, your weight may not change, but your body composition does.  And in the grand scheme of things that’s more important than what number reads on the scale.  So don’t forget that!  Also remember that how you look in the mirror and how your clothes fit are key indicators of your progress too.  Things will be shifting around.  For example, you may lose fat around your waist and gain muscle in your chest.  So, the moral of the story is: don’t let the scale get you down and focus on positive changes and the BIG or should I say SMALLER picture.
