If you"re looking for ways to improve the energy efficiency of things around your home or apartment, check out this site. http://hes.lbl.gov/ Once you get there, plug in your zip code and use the first web-based do it yourself energy audit tool. After you’ve inputted your info you’ll see a graph of the average energy costs per household in your area and then the energy costs of an efficient household. They’ll also show you the potential savings per year and give you suggestions on how to do so. In my case I could save about $932 bucks a year. Haven’t done the audit yet so I better get busy and so should you.
